Radio Fire Alarms have been protecting buildings for almost
20 years but today's systems incorporate the latest developments in computer
and mobile technology enabling ever easier and more capable installations.
The huge benefit of radio fire alarm systems is that
their installation is relatively quick and causes minimal disruption to
buildings or their occupants. As a result TVF have installed these systems
in a wide variety of buildings including heritage sites, hospitals, schools,
theatres, office blocks, banks, manufacturing plants, power stations and
many more.
Compact radio control panels are capable of supporting
up to 3,000 devices and benefit from well designed and clearly labelled
operational features. Versatile software allows the panels to be interfaced
with most other hardwired systems and a pager system can be supplied which
mimics alphanumeric information displayed at the main control panel.
Radio Devices
Each radio detector contains two independent lithium cells giving a battery
life of up to an estimated 10 years. Each unit is fully monitored and
available in various types. Sensitivities can also be adjusted either
remotely at the control panel or pre-set in the sensor.
Sounders for audible alarm can operate either as stand
alone units or integrated with the detection devices. Different tones
can be programmed and the units can be configured to switch other hardwired
equipment. A flashing beacon is also available. Callpoints provide activation
housed in a rectangular case for mounting directly onto a wall.
TVF (UK) are the leading facilitator of Radio Alarms
to Heritage and Stately Homes.
