Whatley Manor Hotel is a beautifully restored manor house in the Cotswolds, setting
new standards in elegance and relaxation.
This exclusive hotel needed to protect their clients and the historic fabric
of the building. TVF designed
and installed
a water
mist system to protect escape routes and ensure conformity to Building Regulations
2000.
High risk areas such as the kitchens are also covered by the water mist system
to ensure the safe containment of a fire condition. A state of the art water
mist pump was installed to supply water to any/all of the protected areas should
the need arise, via engineered section valves that operate when a drop in pressure
is sensed from the relevant areas.
Water Fog systems clean the air of smoke particles, use less water and are
more effective than sprinkler systems, all of which reduces the effects of a
fire on a building and its precious contents.
